Yoga For Runners
It’s DeKalb Corn Classic & Bank of America Chicago Marathon training season! If you want to be a better runner, jogger or walker, take care of the vehicle that carries you. Like a car, it’s important to upkeep preventative maintenance, change the tires (shoes) and keep machinery greased up (fluid to muscles and joints). If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been told, “I don’t do yoga. I run”…I’d not only be able to pay for every race I want to run but it’s been a motivating factor in designing this class for you. My first love was running as a previous NJCAA cross country and track athlete. If you love something enough and take the time to do it, you’ll find the time to rehab and prehab. Yoga can ABSOLUTELY be incorporated into a routine for the athlete, couch to 5k enthusiast or daily power walker. It has the potential to develop into a recovery day, cross training and conditioning, strengthening, or mental endurance challenges to get you to your finish line safely. Come Find What Moves you.
+Short and sweet dash & go: $15 drop-in
+in it for the long run endurance $100 package: 10 for $10
(Can be used on any classes offered at Temple Yoga after our yoga for runners series.
****Bring your running shoes, foam roller and mat if you can! We have extra mats if you need ***

Her abilities to teach have been homed in over the years and now she’s coming to the community to bring you the education you need for self-defense.
